It needle-be a Rainbow

I needle felted this Rainbow finch (Gouldian Finch) some months ago, and it's been keeping my daughter company hanging beside her bed since then....along with the Hummingbirds I felted. You can see the posts here and here, I hope you can see that my technique has improved a little. I made his beak myself with papier mashe, and coloured it with promarkers. 

A few more views below, wish I'd shown his tail clearer.

Linda, your bird is amazing!!! All your birds (including the super pretty hummingbirds)are perfect to me - I don´t think I would ever be able to create such a gorgeous birdie!
