This Breast Cancer Awareness Freebie is (of course) from Saturated Canary. Isn't she beautiful. I've coloured her using my Lyra Pencils, and a dot of Sakura white glaze on her eyes.  My papers are Craft Creations, the Lace from Joanna Sheen, dew-drops (thought appropriate lol)  and seam binding are The Ribbon Girl, the rest is stash. My tickets are once again Bitavin's Bastel Blog , a blank ticket which I added sentiment and colour to in Paint.net.

Happy Spring Has Sprung.

Here in the Midlands of England we started with a Spring that was like Summer, but the last few days we've been pitched into Winter. Scotland and North of England suffered worse, with heavy snow, we just had sleet for one day....but boy, has it been cold. My card is to remind me of what a warm Spring can be lol.

 My image is a Friday Freebie from My Craft Planet, Sassy Studio Design. She was last weeks, if you'd like to have this weeks just pop over the the link above and join the Forum, Friday Freebies are only ever available for 24hrs, and this weeks is a beauty.

I coloured her with my Lyra Pencils, and for a change I was happy with the results. I feel I'm beginning to get the hang of them and becoming a little more confident. I've sent for a few Prismacolors to bridge the gaps that I feel there is in the colour range. 

My tickets were freebies from Bitavin's Bastel Blog, there are a few with sentiments, this was from the blank ticket she supplied and I added the sentiments in Paint.net, then coloured with Promarkers.

My DP's are Kay & Co, the buckle is a die cut and the rest is from stash.

Anniversary Waltz

This is an Anniversary Card for my sister (and Hubby of course) who celebrate the end of next month...and yes it's made already.......whether or not I actually get it in the post on time is another matter of course. 

My Image is from Delicious Doodles, another of those I won with ATC's & Cards with Attitude. Teri at DD gave her permission for me to add the music background with my photoshop. 

The blurred object on the sentiment is a fimo hummingbird. In shimmering pearl white, it's just not showing up too well.

Breezy silhouette

My image is Summer Breeze from Little Miss Muffet, her creator Barbara gave permission for me to turn her into a silhouette (photoshop) for this challenge. I'm pleased with how she turned out. My flower is fimo, lotus flower - using a silcone mold by Moldmuse. Papers are a pack of wrapping paper from Tesco. Sentiment p.c. generated and gems are stash.

Two by Two Anniversaries

Another Card in the 2 pairs of 2 pairs theme. I had an anniversary card for my Brother and also a friend this month. My friend's was a Sapphire Anniversary (forget how many years) so I made her the blue version below........then I merrily sent it off to by brother who's anniversary came first. I was kicking myself all day over that. I now have to send the red one to my friend for her Sapphire. 

My Image is from Digi's with Attitude. I'm sure my sister in law and my friend will appreciate the look on that little girl tigers face. I'm guessing the men folk will barely look at it lol. 

I used off cuts of embossed card from a previous project. My greetings are handwritten with sakura glitter pen, and then traced back over with a glaze pen. I glazed my red hearts, and the blue hearts below are glitter pen too. My shading is with Lyca pencils, ribbon and gems are stash.

the hearts are blue...and just what exactly am I implying lol.

This is for a friend having a difficult time with her health, we have a standing joke between us regarding polar bears so this is perfect for her.......well who wouldn't love this adorable image anyway lol. It's by Delicious Doodles and I won it at ATC's & Cards with Attitude. 

As you can see it's a twisted easel, and for a change I stayed fairly simple with it instead of my usual trying to fill up every tiny space -felt the image was enough.

Beneath the base layer I have a flip out section for my message...having already written on it I've not desplayed it fully. Its a matching page from a notelet pad sent to me by my friend Ulina...I already had the  paper pad, one of my favorites. My brad was plain and I added spots with sakura glaze black.

Welcome to this little blog hop we are having today for our dear friend Dorcas, who a week ago lost one of her fur-babies. Many of us know how hard it is to lose a beloved pet and we wanted her to know that we are all thinking of her at this distressing time.

Dorcas, this is for you, a little something to say I care about you, as do so many others. I know you will get the support you need, but as I can't actually be there to hug you I'm going to have to send you a virtual hug.....can you feel it.

 I tried to use a few things that I know Dorcas likes, blue and yellow, a ADFD image, buttons of course. I added a few things I like, crocheted lace, a tag and a hand made fimo rose, and spots.

so, in case you're wondering what the LINKY follower thingy is on the top right of my sidebar.....  in case you haven't heard, GOOGLE FRIENDS CONNECT is ending next month.  anyway, here's what i found about it....

As you’ve probably heard (and in case you haven't), the popular Google Friend Connect (“GFC”) is going away March 1st for non-Google blog platforms like WordPress, and rumor has it that it will be eventually phased out completely to be replaced by Google+.  YES you read that right. It has been on national news reports –all about how Google is phasing it out and not providing a service to move our followers–even saying the new Google+ will not be what the GFC was.  

anyway, a friend of mine (thank you dawn) found this link and i checked it out.  it's easy, it's FREE and i decided to "jump on the bandwagon" before the you-know-what hits the fan and we're all running around like chickens without our heads.
