Jill over at Creating My Way To Success is challenging us to Get A Round Tuit ...see badge in my sidebar. My first project has been to finish this panda I was making for my grandson....all it needed was his ears - just his ears, and then of course, sewing and stuffing etc.
The most troublesome part of this had been his head, seriously, and without exaggeration, this is his 19th head. I just could not get it right. My grandson would come and ask if his panda was finish and I'd have to say no, and tell him how many head's he had got up to lol. Then finally I got his head on - came to a complete stop.....and Jack has long since stopped asking for him.
Now I know he's a little long in the snout for a panda...but I didn't know that till he was stuffed, and I don't care, and neither will Jack. I didn't intentionally make him a panda cub either, but that's how he turned out and I think he's cute.
By the way, if panda's don't have tails....please don't tell me lol.

He's well worth the wait. You do a wonderful job with your crocheting. He's cute. I'm sure Jack will love it, too. Sorry I haven't written in a while.
Hugs, dj
Ok, so about Pandas and tails......Oh never mind! lol No, I really don't know, I think Pandas have tails, baby ones surely do even if they drop off when they grow up. lol Seriously I don't know. :-)What I DO know is this: You are da queen of crochet!! Wow, Lin! I'm sorry I would never have had the patience to make him 19 heads. After the third one I would have said "Off with his head!" and been done with it!
You rock, Lin!
CUTE panda!!! I have no idea if they have tails- but if they dont who cares this guy is original!

(You´re a very patient person!)
Well done for finishing this gorgeous panda!! I can't believe you had the patience to go through 19 heads! He turned out so cute! I love him - tail and all!! :)

This is adorable Linda! You certainly get the patience award! #19 is the winner! I'll have to check out my panda pictures on my picture page and see if they have tails. I was thinking they have little nubbies like you gave him. Tail or no tail he is adorable. Jack won't know the difference either. He will be so happy to get it. I am working on my nieces and nephew's scrapbook. I have had them for 8 years! They are loosing their patience with me.
God this time a Panda, I am just fan of your sewing ability this is looking soo adorable.Very talented u r.Ans sure Jack will loooooove it.
Hi Linda Im bet your grandson was so pleased with his Panda its not surprising why he kept asking if he was finished. Hes gorgeous by the way. with hugs Shirleyxx
