Another LUFP

Just wanted to share a project I'm very proud to be involved in, to make a crocheted patchwork blanket. It's for the daughter of a friend, she was diagnosed just a few months after her baby daughter was born. She's undergoing chemo at the moment. A group of us are each making squares and my friend will be putting them all together and making the quilt. Her favourite colour is purple and I have a few other squares in purple with a pink flower on it. All the squares will be joined together with purple yarn.

Linday, I love to crochet! I just finished another blanket for one of our grandbabies. Your pink crochet square is beautiful. Love the purple edging and the flower on it. How cool that a group of you are each making squares to be all put together. I can feel the love. Your friend will cherish it. Here from LU4P party! Hugs!

This is lovely, Lin, and how sweet of you to lend a hand to make a cancer patient more comfortable. I'm sure she'll love taking this beautiful quilt to chemo with her. You have been on my mind for the past several days and I was so busy trying to get project finished, I didn't take the time to drop by and say hello. I was happy to see your comment on my blog today as it reminded me that I owed you a visit.

Hugs,
Anne
