40's ATC with Attitude

For my ATC base I used a piece of gold card. I stamp a few scrollie bits (using just elements of a Tim Holtz Stamp)  on it and embossed them in gold, and then inked over the ATC edges and embossed that. The corners started to lift a little, and I liked it so I heated one corner until it melted right back. My pictures (in case you don't already know) are of Shirley Temple, at different ages through the 40's. I used to love watching her films as a child (not that I was alive in the fourties I hasten to add lol). I just have a little gold chiffon bow and a futterby to finish off the glitz, all from stash.

I'd like to join ATC's & Cards with Attitude for their Anything Goes Challenge.

Love this Linda! The gold and the butterfly are nice touches! I used to watch her when I was young too. I had a hairdo just like her! I was not alive then either! LOL!

For a minute I thought they may be pictures of you. But they probably did color photos then :-)
It really is lovely and I like the little patterns on the gold background. Gives it an oldie goldie look.
Love Pearl x

Stunning ATC, Linda! You combined several things I love: gold, "glitz", old photographs, the butterfly... love the vintage theme!
Have a nice Sunday, Lin!

What a lovely ATC, Linda!! I'm a Shirley fan too. I have two of the old composition Shirley dolls from that era and I just love them. I hope you have been well and happy. I apologize for having been absent from your blog for a while. Life has just been really hectic lately.
