On Top Of The World

This is for one of two friends who were Baptised last weekend. This is for a man, so I held off on the embellishments, though managed to get in a few gems, lace and ribbons lol. This is a Mo's Digital Image, coloured with ProMarkers - wish it fitted with the latest DP2 challenge. My papers are Kay & Co and I did my background in the style of Dorcas, though hers are cleverer and stitched with a real sewing machine...mine are 'stitched' with a sakura pen. I glued a couple of buttons together (top one is Ribbon Girl) as my sun and added ribbons as sun rays. My lace 'grass' is crocheted by little me.

Circling with elephants.

Isn't this image from Mo's adorable, it was a freebie, might still be available. Sorry the pic is so blurry, too late for me to do anything about that though. I've coloured with promarkers, my card was cut with a large scalloped circle, the the circle behind little blue here was cut by hand - I did use something to draw  round of  course. The seam binding is Ribbon Girl, the paper flowers are stash. The doily is Marianne Designs, as are the flourishes...which I glittered up with green sakura Tiara pen.

Say it's Stitched

I had to make a stitched card for my swap this month. I almost got to the point of buying some stitching patterns when I remembered I had some stitched toppers from when a previous swap sent me into a minor obsession with stitching designs on paper. This is one of the four cards I made with the toppers I'd had hidden away. My cardstock is so old that I didn't even know I had it. I have loads of coloured cardstock and yet mostly used white as my base.

The gems are old stash, DP is an offcut but not sure which pack, and I've dug out my sakura pens for a little faux stitching. The crochet lace and flowers are handmade, and although not forgotten stash, are beginning to turn into a hoard. I think my stitching patterns were from CraftsUprint. They have loads on there anyway, so worth looking if you fancy giving it a go.

Waste Not Wednesday - Challenge 19

Here are the other cards I made with my Stitched Toppers,
wasn't going to risk forgetting them again lol.

These will go into my card stash,
and no doubt be forgotten lol.

I think the paper is an offcut from a 12x12 Kay & Co pack.

The Papers on these next two are out of the Vintage Pack I had from Sarah at Craft All Day.
My favourite papers at the moment, I think both of these are Kay & Co, but there is is mixture of trade names amongst them, and they are all good quality 6.x.6.

Cameo card

My Something New for this card is My Paper, from The Vintage Pack I had from Craft All Day, and also the little handmade crocheted Doily that is behind the Cameo. The Cameo was made for me by Ulina as part of her scrumptious Pay It Forward gift. My card easel is new too....though that doesn't really count, it's just cute and dinky and I like it lol. My seam binding is ribbon girl...dyed with promarker to match.

A close up of My Doily and Ulina's handmade fimo Cameo....beautiful isn't she.
I now have the mold myself (moldmuse), so will make myself some.

Cornering in pink and black (& white)

Corner bookmark for Lindyloo's bookmark challenge at Creative Harmony. Linda has asked for either a ribbon bookmark, or a corner bookmark. You can enter twice so long as it is one of each type. The receipe is Pink, Black (or grey) and white, and must include a ribbon. You have till 24th May to enter here. Tutorial for simple corner bookmark here.

Close up of cute inchie.
I'll be sending this a an extra gift to my swap partner this month. My cardstock is Bazzil, my seam binding is Ribbon Girl and my iddy biddy inchie stamp is part of the stamp set I won on Sarah's weekly candy. You can enter her current candy here.

My gems are stash. Now here's a question for you, how on earth did I manage to empty my pot of flatback gems all over my laptop.....a better question is....How on Earth am I going to remove the couple that wriggled their way under my keyboard..Yikkes.

Edited. I won for this with Creative Harmony Bookmark Challenge. Yippee!!

B is for Baptism

My card is for a friend in Ireland who was just Baptised. The red frame, is cut out using two die's put through together, I saw this on Catered Crop....sadly  it looks like just a mat in this scan. The challenge is to use the letter B, so I have Baptism, Bow and bling. My papers are both Kay & Co, the green quilted is a 6 x 6 from a Variety Pack I had from Craft All Day. It's a beautiful selection of papers from different Design Pads. The ribbon is also from there. My bling and cardstock are stash.

I thought this image by Mo is perfect for a Man's card - I struggle so much with those lol.
Colourants are ProMarkers. I did put shading on his skin, just been washed out in the picture.

Birds In Her Hair Ribbon Bookmark

Another project for my Daughter. She's not well enough to read now, so until she is this will hang in her room for her. She paid for this digi (and another in the set) from A Day For Daisies, Birds In My Hair Series. She also bought the mold that the fimo flower is made from....for my recent Anniversary.
I made this to join in with Linda's Bookmark Challenge at Creative Harmony. You can make either a ribbon bookmark or a corner bookmark - for which you'll find a tutorial at SplitCoastStampers here.
The recipe is Pink, Black (or grey) and white; and include a ribbon or a bow.

Rest in ProMarkers.
