Say it's Stitched

I had to make a stitched card for my swap this month. I almost got to the point of buying some stitching patterns when I remembered I had some stitched toppers from when a previous swap sent me into a minor obsession with stitching designs on paper. This is one of the four cards I made with the toppers I'd had hidden away. My cardstock is so old that I didn't even know I had it. I have loads of coloured cardstock and yet mostly used white as my base.

The gems are old stash, DP is an offcut but not sure which pack, and I've dug out my sakura pens for a little faux stitching. The crochet lace and flowers are handmade, and although not forgotten stash, are beginning to turn into a hoard. I think my stitching patterns were from CraftsUprint. They have loads on there anyway, so worth looking if you fancy giving it a go.

I'm entering this for
Waste Not Wednesday - Challenge 19

Here are the other cards I made with my Stitched Toppers,
wasn't going to risk forgetting them again lol.

These will go into my card stash,
and no doubt be forgotten lol.

I think the paper is an offcut from a 12x12 Kay & Co pack.

The Papers on these next two are out of the Vintage Pack I had from Sarah at Craft All Day.
My favourite papers at the moment, I think both of these are Kay & Co, but there is is mixture of trade names amongst them, and they are all good quality 6.x.6.

Fimo flowers and a key using molds from Mold Muse.

Wow Linda these are all so lovely! Not sure which one I like best! I want to try and make a card where I sew beads on to the image but not sure when I will get round to it.

Beautiful cards Linda. I started out sewing onto cards first with cross stitch and then embroidery images. I still do a little now and again to add something a bit special.
Lovely and so wonderful to have a change.
