Training in Opulence

This may seem a strange card for a young girl, but she loves steam trains - more recently taken an interest in steam canal boat, but I went with what I had lol. It's for the same child I made the bookmark in the last post.

I wanted to try and give it a look of the opulence of the steam age...so red mirror card and a lot of yellow to match the trims on the train. It is all a lot brighter than the scan shows. My David Bailey failed me with this one and all his pix were fuzzy - maybe he's getting fed up with what seems to be turning into a full time job for him lol.

A side view so you can see all the layers

Linda the card is very nice. I wouldn't have thougt of it for a girl, but if that's what she likes I'm sure she will love it. I really love the style of card you made and the yellow and how it pops out. Hugs, dj

I think she'll love it, Lin! Its so hard getting the shine to show up on a scanner. Even with a camera it sometimes makes the picture blurry. But we can imagine it! Nice job!
