I've crossed a Black & White Day

This is a criss-cross card, been a  while since I made one of these. My papers are digital, a set of My Grafico which I won on a Digi's With Attitude Challenge some time ago.

It's for a friend that I've not seen for quite a while due to us both having poor health, we used to spend a lot of time together. She has now moved to the sea-side.....even more reason to want to see her soon eh!! LOL.

Inside

The beads are  black and a shimmery pearl...
I'm sad it doesn't show up.

Manly Men like Flowers, Don't They!!??

This card is for a friend who was just Baptised. I find this kind of card for a man very difficult, and I think this is my favourite male card to date. My DP is from my 6x6 V&A pack, ribbon is Marianne Creatables, as is the ribbon carrying border die. My Flower is cut from the tiny centre of the Fleur d lyes squares by nesties. I'll get back to you on the stamped sentiment. It was all in one, but I cut it so I could put it around the square. My digi is Arthurs Clip-Art.

I thought the Flower in a matching warm grey wasn't too girly lol....besides many men like flowers.

A Few Masculine Challenges I'd like to enter...

Tuesday Throwdown - Masculine Card
Catch The Bug - It's A Man's World

It's a Bit Of a Grey Area

The Challenge at Less Is More this week is Monochrome. It's been a couple of weeks since I've been able to join in, and it's fun to participate again. I actually made 6 CAS Monochromatic cards, but I liked this best.

I've used a pre creased card, and my Papers are 6x6 Linen Texture from the V&A collection....except that the striped that's sandwiched in-between is a sheet of notepaper I found in my stash. Little flower shaped, clear gems are from Craft Creations.

A few more Challenges ...
Crafty Emma - Clean & Simple
Just Some Lines -Monochromatic
Marks Finest Papers - Flowers
Guylou's Inimitability - Monochromatic.
